Impact

The AWC Graduate Programme was an incredibly rewarding experience that significantly contributed to both my personal and professional development. One of the aspects I valued most was the open-door culture, which gave me the opportunity to interact with colleagues across the business and learn from experienced professionals who were always willing to share their knowledge. The programme provided exceptional exposure to the investment industry. As graduates, we attended industry conferences, company management meetings, and results presentations, giving us first-hand insight into the investment process and the opportunity to engage with senior executives. We were never made to feel like "just graduates"—the team genuinely encouraged us to share our views and insights, creating an environment where we felt valued and empowered to contribute. Rotating through the various divisions of the organisation provided me with broad exposure and helped me discover a particular interest in ESG. Thanks to this experience, I was fortunate to be retained as an ESG Analyst, allowing me to pursue a career in an area I am passionate about.
